For Change Cafes are more than just places for great food and coffee – For Change Cafes are a social enterprise on a mission to end youth homelessness.
What is a social enterprise? Social enterprises are businesses designed to create a fairer, more inclusive world. At For Change Cafes, our mission is clear: tackle youth homelessness, together. All profits generated from our cafes are reinvested into our Pathways For Change program, which offers paid training, mentorship, and workplace employment. Supporting young people to create their own pathway out of the cycle of youth homelessness.
Our cafes also serve as the training ground for our trainees—young people gaining valuable skills and confidence that help them transition into stable employment and education. The work they do in our cafes provides a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive, develop transferable skills, and build their future, all while being paid award wages.
