Pathways to Employment Grant
We are proud to announce that we have received a Pathways to Employment Grant from Inner North Community Foundation to support Pathways for Change at Brunswick.
Pathways to Employment is a major annual grant round working to address disadvantage through employment opportunities in the inner north of Melbourne. We have been honoured to be supported by INCF for many years now and thank them for their ongoing belief in the work that we do.
Growing program numbers
In September, we continued to smash our impact numbers with 18 young people in our program and over $16,000 in wages paid to trainees just this month. This is an all-time high for our program and just goes to show how far we have come and the amazing impact that we can have with your continued support. Paying our trainees for their work builds confidence and financial stability as they build their own pathway to independence.
Team Workshop
We recently held our 6-monthly whole team workshop – one of the rare opportunities that we get to bring our whole team together in one location and to soak up the energy and experiences of our team. We looked at social enterprise and a concept and worked on increasing our impact and team recognition processes.
Trainee Progress
How good is this rosetta latte art? Would you believe that this was done by one our trainees in their first shift of Module 2?
Our trainees love learning the art of lattes and it is always so satisfying to see this skill develop throughout the program.
Annual Impact Report FY23
Our annual impact report for FY2023 is currently underway and we hope to get that out to all of you as soon as possible.
It has been a record-breaking year for us but record numbers mean nothing if they aren’t leading to long-term outcomes. We are proud to be able to present those outcomes to you soon.
