It’s been a wonderful start to the year with our team and trainees returning to venues ready to go and eager to learn. It’s also been great to see customers back in the venues supporting us and helping us tackle youth homelessness together.
Venue Manager Workshop
In January, our Venue Managers got together to prepare for the upcoming year of training at each of our cafes.
100% of profits from our cafes are directed to our impact programs including our flagship training and employment program, Pathways For Change, which provides young people experience and support to find their own pathways out of homelessness.
Our cafes also provide the training venue for these trainees to build skills and confidence, which is why it is so important for our Venue Managers to create a safe and positive work environment for our trainees!
Food Truck Refresh
Our food truck just got a refresh! We’re looking forward to seeing our truck out on the road and to see all of you enjoy our crêpes and new design at lots of events coming up this year! The change was the final step in our rebranding efforts to bring For Change Co. together and align each of our brands.

For Change Cafe, Melbourne Uni Closes
Additionally, after an incredible 5 years, For Change Cafe, Melbourne University is set to close its doors.
Beyond just serving coffee, For Change Cafe, Melbourne Uni has enabled our community to create everyday social impact by contributing to our Pathways for Change program – providing paid employment and training opportunities for young people experiencing homelessness. As we bid farewell to Melbourne University, we’re excited to share some exciting news within the next few months.
